Afterlife Post Encryption Program
We now have a early beta version of our encryption program available for download. While we don't know if it'd run with .NET 2.0 or not, it will run with .NET 3.5.
This version is an extremely early version of the program and works as following:
- You download the program and unzip it
- You run the file
- You enter/paste the text into the box, and click "encrypt"
- After a long period of time (2 minutes to possibly an hour), the text you entered will be replaced with "random" text
- That's the encrypted text to provide to us!
** DO NOT LOSE THE privateKey.pke OR publicKey.kez FILES! **
Make numerous backups. Give copies to your estate lawyer. Backup multiple times on CD and make numerous copies of those CDs. Make backups of the files at least once a year. Put CD backups in a safety deposit box.

Take note of the above. Really. We are not joking. If you lose those files, and the program, you will NEVER be able to retrieve the encrypted data! (well, maybe if you pay someone thousands of dollars, and spent months to years waiting). Just... don't lose the files! Even if you lost the files and re-ran the program it wouldn't help as you'd get new keys that would be worthless for your old data.
